Antique Villa La Bianca

Set in a peaceful garden with aged-old trees, Villa La Bianca is a charming country residence in Camaiore, Tuscany (Italy). Once home of the Italian writer Cesare Garboli, Villa La Bianca was a favourite meeting place for intellectuals. Renovated preserving its original character, the villa was transformed by the owners Elga and Sandro into a bed & breakfast in 1999.

Villa La Bianca is located in a strategic position, 10 Km from Versilia, Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, all vital marine towns, and is less then an hour away from historical cities like Pisa, Florence and Lucca.

The 6 suites (gialla, celeste, bianca, arancio, pervinca, glicine) of the guesthouse, attended by important cultural figures of the 20th Century, have a unique character and are decorated with antique Italian furniture, vintage mirrors, precious fabrics, four-post beds and old paintings. Some rooms have a lounge area with sofa, fireplace and private entrance. Apartments that can accommodate from two to six people are also available.

Every morning guest can have a tasty home made breakfast and for dinner delicious traditional Tuscan dishes made with local ingredients in the intimate Restaurant “La Brilla”, located on the ground floor of the villa. In winter meals are served around a large table in front of the fireplace and during warmer months outside in the garden.

Guests can enjoy activities like hiking, trekking, biking, play golf and after a day around, relax outside in one of the two salt-water pools. The team at Villa la Bianca organizes cultural and enogastronomic tours or cooking classes to learn the secrets of the Tuscan cuisine.
