Tim and Kit Kemp, owners of Firmdale Hotels, have designed the Ham Yard Hotel, a new hotel with a distinctly urban style, located between the elegant and sophisticated Mayfair and the edgy Soho, in London. Together with the hotel, there are 24 residential apartments and 13 individual specialist stores. Outside the entrance there is a unique large bronze sculpture called ‘Group’, by Tony Cragg.
The Ham Yard Hotel has beautiful interiors with vibrant colors, pattern, texture, art and unexpected details. The hotel has an elegant and traditionally styled Library for the guests with a carefully chosen collection of travel, history, art and culture books. The Bar and the Restaurant offer a frequently changing menu with fresh seasonal ingredients and the best of British products. The 91 bedrooms and suites, individually designed by Kit Kemp with a modern British style, are large and elegant, with exciting prints and mélange of colours.
The Ham Yard Hotel has also a Theatre with 176 seats, an original 1950s Bowling Alley imported from Texas, the Soholistic spa, offering a full range of body and beauty treatments, and on the 4th floor a large, leafy rooftop garden with an amazing view of the London skyline.
