Hawaiian soul: Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club

Set in the center of Waikiki neighborhood in Honolulu, Hawaii, Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club is a stylish retro hotel a few blocks from the well-known Waikiki Beach.

Housed in a 1960’s building, the lodge was renovated in 2016 maintaining its original 60’s Hawaiian spirit. The interiors are based on vintage decors mixed with vibrant and contemporary art: restored fabrics, original wood furniture and local artisans works. The public spaces are decorated with photographs featuring mid-century Hawaii landscapes and custom wallpapers.

Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club offers 112 bungalow rooms and suites, all inspired by the iconic surf culture. The rooms are decorated with hand-made furnishings, vibrant ceramic tiles, eclectic local artworks, vivid fabrics and vintage posters. The Suites and Penthouse offer a big living area and a private terrace where to relax.

Guests can taste the local cuisine at the Mahina & Sun’s Restaurant, with a selection of delicious dishes and cocktails made by organic ingredients from homegrown farmlands, in a cool casual atmosphere. They can also gather by the pool at the The Swim Club to enjoy live entertainment including DJs set, filmmaker screenings and creative workshops.

Inside the hotel is located the boutique Olive & Oliver, a fashion store focused on beach essentials, select merchandise, fun gifts and with an artisanal coffee bar.
