Nestled in the south of the Himalaya, in the Dhulikhel village of Nepal, Dwarika’s Resort is a luxurious and peaceful retreat, surrounded by nature. Built primarily using natural materials such as stone, wood and traditional bricks, the internal areas of the resort are decorated with natural fabrics and colours. The outdoor and indoor living rooms are spacious and in a rustic style, in harmony with the natural surrounding.
Dwarika’s Resort offers 40 suites (Junior, Executive and Royal), looking upon the Himalayas, with an outdoor living space and handcrafted furniture made from local materials. The executive rooms have a private garden or spacious roof terrace and the royal suites have a private kitchen (with chef on request) and an outdoor lounge and sleeping area.
Guests can spend time in the library, enjoying the extensive collection of books about holistic lifestyles, relax in the lounge area or swim in the pool. Pottery and creative courses, with local artisans, and cooking classes, using fresh vegetables and herbs from the hotel’s farm are also available. The surrounding area presents various opportunities for hiking and for exploring the Himalayan foothills.
Under the guidance of Ayurveda doctors and naturopathy experts, guests can try different treatments at the Pansha Kosha Spa or yoga and meditation classes for a better spiritual balance. Himalayan Salt room, full of minerals and crystal rocks, is an area of Dwarika’s Resort, ideal for people suffering from asthma and skin allergies.
Offering a range of Nepal and international cuisine, the restaurant is set beside the pool and during the evening guests can relax at the bar. The dishes are prepared with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.
