Set inside the “old Feba radio station” on the West Coast of Mahé, Seychelles, The Station is a calm and tranquil Retreat 10 minutes drive away from Victoria and surrounded by tropical rain forest.
Jenny Gilbert, the owner, after moving from South Africa to Seychelles in the late 90s, acquired the propriety and after years of renovations, created a sustainable eco-friendly hotel dedicated to natural health and wellbeing. She is a pioneer of homeopathy and aromatherapy and from 1995 she has been formulating and producing health and beauty products for exclusive hotels. A selection of soaps, skincare and other gift ideas are available at the Lily Moon Health & Gift Shop of the hotel.
The Station is more than just a place to stay during your Seychelles trip, it’s a serene refuge with no televisions or telephones, perfect to recharge and find balance. Around the pool, overlooking the gardens are located the 6 rooms & Villa, decorated with restored old furniture and French-colonial elements. Each room is associated to a particular flower, color and chakra and some rooms have a private courtyard with ethnic lounge area.
Seasonal healthy dishes with fresh food, herbs and spices from the organic gardens of the hotel are offered at the Station Café & Restaurant, a relaxed lounge area with sofas, daybeds and a panoramic view.
After a day discovering tropical beaches and crystal water, guests can enjoy massages and wellness treatments at the Station Spa or participate in daily yoga classes in the Yoga Pavilion. The Pavilion by the Pool is available to host meetings, workshops, special events and weddings.
