Set in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in the Limpopo Provence of South Africa, Bushbaby River Lodge is an exclusive resort near Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon.
The two owners, Edgar and Yvette, fell in love with South Africa and opened a private and intimate camp in a scenic garden with large trees.
A perfect accommodation for couples, friends or families, Bushbaby River Lodge offers five chalets (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard room) designed in African style and with luxury Egyptian cotton linen. Each room has a thatched roof, large veranda, outside showers, mosquito net and air-conditioning.
Every morning a healthy and tasty breakfast is served in the restaurant area of the Lodge. Visitors can also try a selection of snacks and light meals or if they are going out, ask to organize lunch packages or picnic baskets. Guests can relax at the pool under the umbrellas, read a book in the private verandas or a drink under the stars.
The private reserve where the camp is located, offers several activities such as walking, bike or horse riding trails to spot local wildlife (giraffes, zebras, impalas, bushbabies and kudu).
Bushbaby River Lodge is involved with the local community and supports the Daktari Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage, a non-profit organization dedicated to teach local kids their natural surroundings.
