A charming Bed and Breakfast, Quartopiano, is in a quiet street some steps away from the center of Modena, Italy. With its fascinating architecture and its traditional cuisine, this city is well known as the land of motors, the land of opera music and of balsamic vinegar.
Set of the 4th floor of a renovated building, with an amazing view of Modena rooftops, Quartopiano is a unique guesthouse. The two owners, Antonio and Alessandro, selected carefully every detail and decorated the house with furniture, objects and small elements found in Italian and Provençal markets, during their travels. The 2 rooms of the B&B, Atleta and Guerriero, with private bathrooms, are in vintage style, with details that create a harmonic ambience.
Guests can rest in the living room or read a book from the library, while listening to music. Breakfast is served on the “Altana” roof terrace and country-style kitchen that offers freshly baked cakes, honey and homemade marmalades, a selection of teas and fresh orange juice. In addition the owners are happy to welcome guests to their bar/restaurant Mon Café for lunch or dinner.
